well, its a bank holiday weekend so presumably you need to eat for at least 5 nights including tonight before getting more shopping - thats a tall order but I would half the tuna or third it and have it with pasta one day, rice the next and poss the chips on another day - tho I would prob have the chips on their own. If you have any butter plain pasta with butter melted on top is quite good and filling. Mix the sweetcorn with any or all of the above.

Break up the tuna with a fork (it's canned right, or already cooked) and mix it with the corn and cooked rice. If you have it toss in some oil and lemon juice and salt and pepper, or any kind of salad dressing. It's very tasty.

If you find enough change under the couch, buy a tomato and an onion. Chop up the onion and brown it in a frying pan, add chopped tomato and cover until the tomato goes mushy. Now you have sauce for your pasta.

An onion would help! Tuna and rice or pasta with sweetcorn (and fried onion) works well, with a side order of chips! Dead simple!

Are you a student?

Also...this time of year...go for a walk, loads of free food in hedgerows everywhere - berries, roots, mushrooms and leafy things a-plenty.

pasta with tuna n sweetcorn.

rice with tuna and sweetcorn

chips with tuna and sweetcorn

whaddya expect??

if u had flour, margerine and milk you could make a lovely roux sauce with the tuna: as follows

turn on low heat, you melt marge in a saucepan( 1 tea spoon) stir in 1 teaspoon of flour til get yellow gunge, then add milk gradually n keep stirring, sauce will thicken. Add tuna flakes, n stir.
This is lovely with rice or pasta.

i have no idea what oven chips are :P

you could cook up the pasta mix in the tuna .. borrow a can or two of cream mushroom or cream something from your neighbor promiseing you are going to replace it ( the stuff is cheap anyway ) mix that in with the noodles and tuna .. like tuna noodle cassarole ..

you could mix in the corn instead of the peas too :P
