Hey Nicholas what the h*** is your problem? Are you bothered because someone likes trucks? Did this person offend you by not wanting to talk about your little Yamaha Raz? Well scooter-boy back off and let them have their fun with their own vehicle. Just because you don't like trucks doesn't mean the next guy should hate them just to fit in with you. Now why don't you get on your Little scooter and ride it out the nearest farm and tell them to their faces that they are red-necks and see if that scooter can out-run a truck.

Good pick on the truck! You won't get a lift, tires and exhaust for $3,500 unless you do it yourself. I was quoted $3,700 lift only (parts and labor) to do a 4.5" lift on my jeep Cherokee by a off road store in arizona. I ended up doing it myself with 33" tires and new wheels and exhaust for about $2,700 total. But A Super Duty's front suspension is much more complicated than a jeep's. If you don't know how, don't try. You really can end up messing up your truck. Shop labor is going to be expensive. It's a good two day job for the lift and a third day for the exhaust. Maybe talk to some shops in your area about putting their logo on when the truck is done for a break on the price.

More than likely not a local garage. Maybe you have some friends that can help you do it if your strapped for cash. Now for the prices of tires....your best bet would be to just to some searching on the internet. Look at http://www.toyo.com and places like that. There is no end to the possibilities...good luck!

3500 should be enough for the lift..and MAYBE the tires of you stick with your rims that you have now...

your best bet to get something like that done is a truck accessory shop/tire pros/or a specialty shop..

Don't do it, lifted trucks with big wheels and a loud exhaust are the dumbest things in the world. Plus they roll over easy, and kill people in accidents.

If you still want to do it, try doing it yourself. That way when you mess up and kill yourself there is one less redneck driving around. Otherwise, if you bring it to a garage they might do a good job and I'll have to see another stupid, useless monster truck in the walmart parking lot, and that would seriously piss me off.
