cos they have less to loose. Was watching a documentary about this once. They did an experiment where they put a really hot girl outside a bar all by herself.
the hot guys looked but didnt chat her up but the ugly dudes were all over her.
lack of pride. the ugly dudes are used to being rejected so they try harder and eventually land a hot one. probability wise it makes sense

because they aren't full of themselves....as far as I am concerned no one is ugly...I have dated both and found that although pretty boys are fun to look at ...they worry so much about how others see them and they are big flirts...they care so much about their appearance it's gets retarded....they have that wondering eye to see if they get the looks from others...and some are very hard to trust. Bu the not so hot one...focuses on you...they do what they can to make you happy..they love you to pieces...and they are pretty smart....they tend to be more in tuned with you than who's around them. They treat you like a goddess and make you feel special....

maybe because the pretty girls see the ugly guys for what they are and not what they look like, and because they know the pretty boys aren't as nice as the ugly ones. either that or they use them for their (ugly dudes) money, and use the hot ones as their "other man"

Because there is more to a guy than just the way he looks. How he treats a girl, personality, sense of humor. It would be very shallow to place the emphasis only on looks.

Women are naturally drawn to men that are less attractive than them because believe it or not, women are superficial and like to feel like the pretty one in the relationship. Same answer for why men don't like women who have more money, cause they like to feel like the provider in the relationship.

they are rich and smart. the cute guys are always as poor as dirt. no girl wants that, especially if she's hot, cause she's gonna want the designer stuff.
