You always got to look objectively at both sides. The bad side is that illegal immigration has true and hidden costs. Government costs increase as they subsidize healthcare etc. However, the majority of manufacturing businesses are able to use well qualified illegal immigrants and pay them below market wages. The end result is the business makes decent profits and the consumer gets an inexpensive products. Business owners (the smart ones) will typically "donate" some money to their favorite politican thus placing them in a bind to support deportation-like laws. It's all about supply and demand. Immigrants don't come here to invade.. they come here to take advantage of an opportunity (i.e. true capitalism which is what the US stands for). The solution should be to cut the supply. For example, fine those businesses that hire illegals. Then illegals will not be able to get a job therefore will stop coming to the US.
Keep in mind that the end result would be higher prices for goods and services.... while salaries will continue to decrease at a lower than inflationary rate.... creating a lull in our economy.... that coupled with rising energy prices..... Middle East conflict.... real estate fizzling..... we're headed for not such a rosey future. Are you prepared? I am.

Only if we can kick people with your attitude out of this great country first! Sheesh, I think something has to be done in regards to illegal immigrants, but not mass deportation.
