Tell your dog being as he ate your hogs birthday present , he can now not go to the birthday party.

Choco taco, chocolate's not good for dogs, you idiot, if eaten in large quantities it can and WILL kill them! To the asker: if they were just corn cobs covered in chocolate, I think you would be okay.... but it depends how much chocolate you used when you made them... such as, a block of choc, a few squares of it, you get the picture. If you're worried or your dog starts to act strangely, call the vet ASAP.

I dont mean to alarm you but dogs are allergic to chocalate. He might start to throw up. If he throws up more that twice you need to take to the vet. He will probly be fine just watch him. My dog probly ate chocalate 5 or 6 times in his life. He had to be taken to the vet one time and was kept over night. He was fine though. If you have to take him to the vet dont worry he will be ok.

Generally it takes alot of chocolate to make a dog ill. You're buddy may have some really nasty gas and probably the trots but he'll be fine. I have a 45lb pooch that ate a 1/2 lb bag of Hershey minis --he was fine the next day. If your dog is terribly small you may have concern but otherwise just make sure his fanny is facing away from you!

No, choco taco is very wrong about this question.Dogs can die if they eat too much chocolate.
It is very important not to let your dog eat these chocolate covered corn cobs anymore.Because as the first line said. they can die from to much chocolate.

Was it dark chocolate? The dark one is the one that is toxic. However anything in large quantities can cause problems. Call your vet and see if they want you to induce vomiting. If they are closed call the ER. A little peroxide down the throat will do the trick.

As long as it wasn't dark chocolate you should be fine, all the same keep a close eye on your dog first sign og trouble rush him off to your vet.

Depends on the quantity, but I would suggest call your vet and talk it over with them, because chocolate is definately not good for a dog!
