Blondie-Brownie Pie

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
13 full size snickers bars, chopped up

Coat a 9 inch glass pie dish with cooking spray.
Melt butter and brown sugar in a large saucepan over medium heat until mixture starts to bubble. Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes.
Stir in 1 egg and vanilla until blended.
Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder until smooth.
Scrape about 3/4 cup of batter into a mound in the middle of the pie plate. Place in freezer for about 10 minutes, or until firm.
Meanwhile, melt 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips in microwave or double boiler.
Stir the melted chips, the cocoa, and the remaining egg into unused batter.
Remove the pie plate from the freezer and press the dough over the bottom and halfway up the sides of the pie plate.
Sprinkle chopped Snicker's over dough, then top with chocolate mixture.
Bake at 350 for 24-27 minutes, or until tests done.
Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over middle of brownie layer, then spread them out to meet the blondie layer as they melt.
Top with chopped nuts or more Snicker's pieces and cool before cutting into wedges.

I made this for the first time and it didn't last 1 hour at my house............LOL

Well, I just made a fake cake out of staraphome, a three tier cake and hot glued the candy bars to the staraphome to make it look like a three tier candy cake and glued #40 candles on the top b/c my friend turned 40. Just an idea, if your looking for an acutal recipe to use the candy and cook it, I am not sure but thought I would share my idea. Have fun!

An easy one I know...
bake an ordinary chocolate layer cake...
Use chocolate mint patties...
place them on the bottom layer, and put it under your grill just long enough to melt them...then smear them all over the top...
put the upper layer over the bottom one, do the same thing again.
If you want to, make a contrasting icing (cream cheese and powdered sugar is good...mix in a few drops of green food colouring and a tsp. of peppermint flavouring) to cover everything, or just do the whole cake with the patties.

I've used the peppermint patties, but any soft candy bar would probably have a similar effect... If you don't use peppermint, add a few drops of vanilla to the cream cheese icing.
