Christianity will always be bashed that's just the way it is. People hate what they are afraid of.

You somehow overlook your own enthusiasm for criticizing other belief systems. I've never yet seen a furious, unprovoked assault on atheism from a Muslim, a Jew, a Hindu, a Buddhist, a Pagan, a Wican or a Jedi, and none of these ever slags off each other either. Every time there's an attack on another religion it's always a CHRISTIAN, a YEH, WE'RE THE BEST AND WE KNOW THE TRUTH AND YEA ALL YE NON-BELIEVERS WILL B U R N IN THE FIRES OF HELL kind of Christian who can't keep their lousy trap shut and their beliefs to themselves because they're so damned arrogant.
So STFU, quit seeing yourselves as the poor little victims, and don't whine when someone tells you so. Promise you, when the Sikhs come on here and slag off everyone else, the rest of us will leave the Christians alone. In other words, it happens because you deserve it.

The Bible tells us, "a house divided against itself can not stand" look at how divided Christianity is. The RC Church has done things throughout history that would turn anyone off to being a Christian. When we see Christians today, what image is presented, televangelists having affairs, stealing money, telling people God will kill them if they don't raise 8 million dollars, a bunch of wackos waiving like willows in the breeze, and we always seem to want to find fault with everyone elses behavior. No wonder people think Christians are screwballs and don't want anything to with us. We need to clean up our act, start loving others from our hearts, quit being so judgemental, and start presenting the kind of image that others can respect and will want to emulate.

Because Christ is the only true God, and that is why Christianity affects people the way it does. Christ has an affect on people that no other religions have, because He is real. How many people have a problem with Hindu, for example? There's nothing there, and therefore nothing that can offend. God forces you to acknowledge that there are moral absulutes, and that nobody is without sin. This make many people uncomfortable, and that's where the bashing comes into play.

So far, no Muslim has come on this site and preached about converting averyone to their faith, ligislating their religion, or burning unbelievers. Most people on this board are from Europe and the Americas, where Christian is dominant...so naturally non-believers will be concentrating their focus on Christianity. If Mormanism, Scientology, or Islam were dominant in these regions, then most of the criticism would be leveled at them.

Well if you had read the question from the guy "christian" that was asking "nonbelievers" about why they dont believe, then you would understand. He is supposedly a "christian" ,and all he does is bash others that arent.!!! And you can't tell me that christians don't bash other religions and "force" their beliefs on others. Such as. tell others they will die and go to hell if they don't believe in god. ( i was raised southern baptist, so i KNOW what christians are taught)

People don't know enough about most other religions to really bash them, but christianity has really put itself out there. Mind you, I am not bashing it, just merely stating a fact.

I lump all the Middle Eastern religions into one for the sake of argument. There's no appreciable difference between Christianity, Islam and Judaism in regards to fearfully and ignorantly insisting upon their "faith" without any proof except personal experiences that can be easily dismissed as hallucinations, lack of critical thinking, wishful thinking and imagination.

I havent had one Jew, Hindu, Buhddist or Muslim tell me that I am going to Hell for not agreeing with their viewpoint. On the other hand, Ive received many many private emails from user on this site telling me that I am going to go to hell if I dont repent for saying that God doesnt exist, telling me I am wrong, and telling me that I am stupid - which are all classed under JUDGEMENT...a basic tenant of your religion, that none of you seem to pay attention to.
And lets face it - you people lack logic, so it is fun to bash you. And oh so easy too! But, no matter how hard I try, I cant seem to find a hole in Buhdism.... or Hinduism. And Muslims arent here telling me that abortion KILLS BABIES. Because it doesnt.

Libererals Hate Chrisitianity, the liberals have 20% of the population but own 90% of the press. The good news my friend, they have not and will not ever get power as long as clear thinking Americans like you say what you say, when you have to say it will bring them down only because the truth will set us all free.
