I liked George Harrison's "Something," from when he was in the Beatles.
No the Holy Spirit is nto the same as the Brahman, nor is the Brahman a definition for the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit Is the Spirit Of God, Who Comes Down To Lead us & to Sanctify us all.

No, the Holy Spirit is like a metaphorical description of a non-material influence of God as a part of the Holy Trinity of Christianity. The Brahman is everything, simply put. You, me, the earth, time, all is the Brahman.

I think if you HAD to draw some kind of comparison then you would compare them, but you're thinking on two completely different Theological plains of thought... My old man once told me that the way he interprested the Holy Spirit was that you had the Father in heaven, the Son on Earth and the Holy Spirit was that spiritual force connecting us here on Earth to the 'Father' upstairs (like the 'Father' is the sun, and the Holy Spirit is the light). Brahman is more like the spiritual force that holds the entire cosmos together, type thing... I couldn't imagine switching the above two definitions... But then again, I'm no theologian. :-\
I'm confusing myself now... Thanks for that...

I actually don't know who Brahman is... Is this something in Hindu?
For me, the Holy Spirit is God at work in the world. When I talk about "the spirit of good," I personally am talking about the Holy Spirit. This is why non-Christians are not automatically damned - God works in many many ways.
