run horizontally almost giving the illegals grips to climb on? wouldn't it have been smarter to run them vertically so they couldn't get a hold? and chain link.....nothing but leg and foot holds...seems to me there may be a government conspiracy going on here....

It's really more to mark the border. There are gaps in the fence coverage for miles, so they really don't even need to climb it. They could tunnel under it. Even if it was Vertical slats, they'd find a way. We need to have quicker, harsher punishment for illegals. We need to have quicker, harsher punishment for repeat offenders. We need to remember our 2nd amendment right: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed". We need to remember that these illegals compromise the Security of our Free States! America has always been better armed than any opponent. What person would dare jump a fence if a civilian militia might be on the other side of it?

That is a very interesting perspective, and I have never looked at it that way! They don't by any chance have signs posted instructing one how to climb over it do they? Maybe we should just electrify the thing and get it over with?!

A fence was a dumb idea in the first place. My dog can get over a fence.

No. it's just the brains of the Red Necks in charge of it at work. They can't figure it out on their own - of course Bush was advising them!

What are you doing to improve the illegal immigration problem? Besides complaining about it in every question you ask.
I think a Mexican got your daughter pregnant or took your girlfriend you have too much hate to spit out.
No government conspiracy dumb@ss there are illegal immigrants in every first world country around the world coming from devolping countries next to them.
They may be illegal but they are human just like you just a little tanner.

... and maybe they built them that way so that drunk college students could climb over the "fence" and return back to the US after waking up naked in a Mexican bar after a week long binge... who knows!?!?

if it ran horizontally, the mexicans would be able to use the fense as a latter. that would suck too.
we should just sit there with guns and shoot them when they even aproach the fense. Maybe that's the real reason why the govt left spaces between the slats of metal. so that we could shoot through it! :)
DEPORTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A PACIFIER for Americans and a STEP LADDER for illegal Mexicans.... How funny! Yet another insult to "We the People". Nice catch, and thanks for pointing it out. PS....there's always some government conspiracy going on.
