Some guys have approached me and asked me out on dates. however, i just couldn't find a way to say that i didn't want to go because my main priority is school. I felt so offguard! what should i do when anothe guy approaches me but i feel the same way?

The best thing to do is be upfront and honest. Tell them you arent interested in dating rightnow because you need to focus on school. Any guy who is worth it will respect that.

Why not just say the truth, that at this time you are too busy to go out on a date.

"busy with school" is a perfect excuse. if they do not get the message after 3 times, tell them you will not have any time over the next 4 years.

It's easy, tell them: "I feel very flattered but I'm currently not looking to date right now, can we be friends?" If they ask why, then tell them that they can go call your dad or older brother and they could bother him instead.
That will give them the idea.

"Thanks, but no thanks," and smiling nicely should work perfectly fine. Only if they ask why, you can offer as explanation that at this time school is your main priority. If you think the guy is really nice and you might be interested in him later, you can let him know that.
