If you have bad credit get a reserve credit card at almost any major bank it requires that you have an account with the amount of your credit limit inside it that you cannot access. Make your payments on time for 6 mos and poof! good credit...

If this is your first credit card/creid account and your 18 or over almost anyone will give you one...banks will fall all over themselves to give you a 500 credit limit....I went with cap 1 and chase

Like Bella said, Crown Jewelers.
Guaranteed to be accepted, they do not pull a credit report.
But, you do have to make a purchase for them to report.
You can make a $20 or $30 purchase and have a tradeline of up to $1500 reporting.

Capital one do a secured card, I got one with a £200 limit, had to give them £200 up front for it. Paid it off regularly and now i can get other cards with reasonable limits, and was bankrupt only 5 years ago.

If you're likely to be turned down by credit card companies I would advise not to get a one. If you're credit ratings that bad you probably can't afford it. Only spend money that's yours, then you'll get your credit rating on track.

If you have to ask like that, you probably should stay away. If your credit is not good try a debit card. If you don't have it you can't spend it. Good habit to practice!
However if you are trying to build credit, try Capital One. even if you have to start with a deposit. they like to encourage debt.
