Germans come from Germany, brazilians from brazil, etc.
Why do people use the word "americans" when they talk about a person how was born (or somehow nationalized) in the USA?? In fact, America is a whole continent, not just a country. Of course the USA is economically "the country", but that doesn't mean is the only one in the continent. Is there another way to call them, instead of americans or northamericans?

We should all be called mutts, really. We all, basically, came from someplace else. You didn't win a lotto or something where this kind of question hinges on the check being delivered to an accurate location, did you?
