This past week or so my eye has been twitching a lot. It's so annoying! How can I make it stop?

It is usually from stress, overly tired , or over-use. Watch your caffeine intake and your lighting when you read. Do something relaxing or avoid people or things that stress you out. It will go away eventually and isn't as noticeable to other people as it is to you. I have had it...drives me crazy, but does go away in time. Make a couple of adjustments in your life and you will be fine.

The body is almost all water content. Water is the best energy conductant in the universe. Your eye is flesh. Mostly water. Subcutneously, it is like basketweaving. Called muscle enabling you to open and close your eyes or anything in between.

I take it you are a healthy individual, therefore in control of your motor functions. Yes. You are. Minute electirical impulses from the brain send just enough current for your eye to do this, thatl, or the other. If it twitches, more often than not, it's an electrical impulse outside of yourself. Case closed.

My grandma always tells me that if my left eye twitches something bad is going to happen. If my right eye twitches something good is going to happen. She put s a little peice of paper on the top of her eye lid and eventually it will stop.

It can be due to stress and your nervious system is responding, or it can be a serious but light begining of a neurological condition or disease. Consult your general doctor and ask him to refer you to a neurologist.Good luck but I hope it's nothing serious but nerves and stress. Take things easy and take time to pamper yourself, you're worth it.

It could be allergies. Or it could be a reaction to medicine, makeup, alcohol or smoking. Or it could be something known as "Lazy Eye." If it keeps bothering you, you should see an eye doctor.

It's a lack of potassium and magnesium. You have to eat lots of things that have these minerals, like spinach and bananas.

I couldn't tell you how to stop it. I get that a lot, and I haven't found a way to stop it yet.
