Why is all the food in the grocery store kosher (Having a K or a U in a circle on the package) and they have a little section of their food?

I go to a normal grocery store. I mean why are normal everyday products like for example my Kraft Hickory Smoked BBQ sauce is kosher. And this is all the food.

The point I am trying to make with the kosher section is why is that section even needed if the whole store ( except maybe the meat) is kosher?

There are a lot of different "certifying agencies" for kosher foods; they use different symbols. The circled U is a registered trademark indicating that the item in question is certified by the Kashruth Division of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, one of the best-known agencies. The K just means "kosher", but does not indicate which agency certified the food.
Many major food producers will seek kosher certification because of not wanting to lose sales---check the labels of a lot of your common foods.
The separate "Jewish foods" section tends to have stuff that's kosher for Passover or that's popular in the local Jewish community.

All the food in the store isn't kosher, unless you are shopping at a kosher store.
For example, the meat isn't kosher unless it has been throat-let.
If you are talking about prepackaged, mass-produced food, all that ain't kosher either. Some of it is. And whenever an item is kosher, food manufacturers are likely to indicate that so as the public is informed...so if someone is shopping for kosher, that food manufacturer will get the bucks, for example.
When you ask why "they" have a section of "their" food, what are you talking about? Like, a kosher aisle? If a store has that, it is a convenience to its shoppers who only buy kosher. Just like there is a section for diabetic-friendly foods.
No conspiracy here.

A lot of food is already almost kosher, so they just change the recipe a bit to let Jews buy it. The kosher section is for "Jewish" foods, or from brands that only Jews buy. However, a lot of food is not kosher (check it). Also, a plain "K" is generally not accepted by Orthodox Jews, as it not always reliable.

i am not understanding your question to well, but will try to answer it regardless.
when foods are labeled with a K or U in a circle, it means that they have been approved by a rabbi and can be eaten by people who praticed the religion of judaism. there are certain foods that can not be eaten unless they are cut a certain way from the animal and haing that the animal did not suffer when they were killed.
now they are not placed in a section of the store, they are prety much all through out the store but only ethic foods are put in sections for easier finding. but kosher foods can be any kind of food, so it is spared out in the store.

When I go to the grocery store I am confronted with all these Mexican foods. I don't understand it. They have tortillas, menudo, taco, maize, carne, salsa, leche and all kinds of things like that. Why? I live in Laredo, Texas.
Oh, I forgot and Kosher food too. And Oriental also. I even found some sauerkraut.

Apparently a lot of folks in the area are Orthodox Jews, who keep Kosher kitchens. Try some of the recipes--they are great!
