I think it is stupid and irresponsible. One of my friends was hospitalized as a child because of the second hand smoke from her parents. A few years later she developed lung cancer. So I think people who smoke around their are basically child abusers.

It's selfish and trashy. Children don't get a choice when they are young, and parents are responsible for teaching them what's wrong and right. Then they want to tell their kids when they grow up not to smoke? I guess it's like, "Do as I say, not as I do?" The poor kids, they will die from second-hand smoke, even if they never put a cigarette to their lips in their life!!

Around newborns/toddlers/young children, I think the parents should be beaten about the head and face until they agree to stop doing it.
Around older kids/teenagers...eh, it's still not good, but at least the kids can get up and go to another room. I'm willing to bet the kid inhales more harmful pollutants while waiting for the school bus than they do from being in another room from their smoking parents. (This is assuming the parents aren't chain smoking or in an enclosed car with no ventilation.)

I think they're harming their children and the child's choice to be effected. I am a smoker (I wish I wasn't) and I smoke outside of my home and when I was prego I quit smoking. And I might say that part of the reason I am a smoker is because I grew up in a house where ppl smoked around me?

They are selfish! They are wierd too! They are a bad infulence for their kids!!! Their kids most likely will start smoking too! The kids most likely start having other problems too like drinking or using drugs, or even hanging out with the wrong crowd! The selfish parents can even create health problems to their kids because of the smoke!

I think we should be able to pull their cigarettes from them, and stamp them out on their arm, after we take a drag and blow the smoke in their eyes.

they're a bunch of losers who doesn't care about their child well being. they don't take risk factors seriously until their kid come up with some kind of health problems and then they wonder why. i think parents who smoked among their children need not to have kid period.

I think they're doing a huge disservice to their kids. There's a reason you blow the smoke out and not inhale it, so why blow that nastiness in your kids face? That's just ignorance at it's best.
