I would say that makes you special. Untainted by pressures of trying to impress a partner. You have gained time to figure out who you are, which in the long run will help your future relationships. I never had a boyfriend in high school, even though lots of guys liked me, because I was busy doing other things (class & student body president, dance team, volunteering, etc.). Once I got to college, then I started to date. It was great, because I was more mature, and could make good decisions for myself. I also did not make some of the mistakes my friends made when they were younger (pregnancy, STDs), because I did not give into the pressure of having sex.

So focus on what you think is important, and the boyfriend thiing will happen.
