What if your girlfriend told you something about a mutual friend of yours that you know should have been kept underground. Even though that friend would have told you anyway, your girlfriend is a blabbermouth and spilled it to you. Now you know this thing about your friend, and when the friend finally decides to trust you and tell you, you already know because your gf blabbed it out... What do you think? Do you get totally annoyed at your girlfriend? Thoughts? Comments?

In a way yes. She has a higher loyalty to you though. When in a relationship the loyalty is to the partner. On the other hand, shouldn't this mutual friend respect this? But yes it would be hard when finally being told by the friend. Simply either tell your girl or your friend how you feel.

Was the thing she told in confidence? What she told to keep it a a secret? Did you have an agreement with her that you would have no secrets, I am wondering if she told you out of loyalty or is she is just a gossip. If she is just a gossip than I would consider ending the relationship if she is the type to tell all that how safe are your secrets? I would talk to her and put the situation on notice. I would tell her that you value your privacy and she violated someone else's. Let her know that if she does it again she won't have you! I would make sure though that is was a secret before freaking out. She could have intended to have no secrets with you!

I'm pretty sure I saw this in the movie, "Mean Girls". Eventually the blabbermouth will crack under the strain of all those secretes and stab you in the back. Just consider if she's blabbing that to YOU, what is she blabbing to others ABOUT you? You should be totally annoyed.

I think you should reconsider telling your big mouth friend anything personal about you. You already knows she is going to tell god knows who. I hate people like that, and you never know who you can trust, so I just quit telling everyone everything.

No, I wouldnt get annoyed. I know people who share everything. Would you be mad if you found out that your gf knew an didnt tell you?
Maybe she just wanted to share something with you.
Next time you should just interrupt her and tell her you dont want to know. Explain to her why you dont want to hear it.

tell your friend who talks too much that if she was a real friend that she would keep secrets like that too herself and not spread it all over the world. i suggest that you dont tell her anything about yourself that is very secret. as for your other friend you should probably tell her that her big mouth friend cant keep her mouth shut, if not that other girl could tell someone else and it could end badly for your friend and maybe even you. hope it ends well!
