My ex-boyfriend contacted me after about two weeks of breaking it off. He called 5 times consecutively, and left text messages saying, "I miss you very much. I know we don't talk anymore, and I've told a lot of people we've broken up. But, I still want to marry you one day." His pride caused the fall of our relationship. I always felt he didn't respect me, but there's something within me that can't escape him. I would just like some advice on what to tell him, or do....

Tell him that you would never marry a man that would go around talking about your relationship decisions before it is discussed with you. You should expect respect from anyone you may be involved with on an emotional level. You are a wonderful woman waiting for a wonderful man. Don't shortchange your self, aren't you worth FINDING by a man that will honor you and treat you better than you treat yourself. WAIT ON THAT ONE THAT IS TO COME! All you have to lose by waiting is heartache and disappointment from the immature person you think you are longing for. It's just familiarity, not love. WAIT!!!!!

Send him a text message telling him to leave you alone because your new boyfriend is getting tired of him. Block his phone calls. If you felt that he didn't respect you from the beginning than you were probably right. Find a new boyfriend who will respect you. He is still disrespecting you by trying to keep his foot in the door by saying STUPID things like wanted to marry you one day after breaking up with you.

He's either realizing now that he screwed up, or he just misses the sex. If you feel that you can work things out, you need to discuss and fix the problems that led to your break up. If you don't want to be with him anymore just tell him, no matter how much you feel for him, just remember... the feelings you have for him now could be pity and you feel bad because your a sensitive person and if he knows your a sensitive person he might use that to get what he wants from you. Don't let your feelings cloud your judgment. If you know what you want then do it. Good Luck

Why did you think, he didn't respect you? Are you really, that naive? Go back to him, Missie, and concede to him! That's my advice, for now. Honestly, girls like you and my ex, are not very smart. You're too jumpy, too hesitant and too presumptuous. But you can stop being that way, and get him back, if you really want to. You have to commit to a guy some time, girl. Why not do it, now? Or at least before you become a gray headed lady?

Don't fall for that sorry old line "I still want to marry you someday." If that were true he would have treated you better in the first place. If you ever get back together with him (and that should be a big IF) he needs to prove that he's sincere. Actions speak louder than words, so don't believe what he says. Believe what he DOES.

I have a bias. I believe that respect is more vital than love. I advise you to get used to being without him. Ignore his pleadings. Look to the future with optimism. Hopefully, you'll find a man who will respect you. Remember to respect yourself and demand respect from others.

Tell him stop already, it's over and he's making himself look like a dog begging like that. Move on. If he makes contact again, ignore him. You can "escape" this, it's all about mind over matter.

Or you have a little bit feelings for him as well.
