Before anyone accuses me of trying to get some tips on how to exploit women in the bar, know this: I'm only asking to get insight on the matter for psychological interests. Serious answers only.
Anyone knows why men are so eager and willing to run off and have sex with a complete stranger they only met a few hours (or minutes) ago. Many men even succed in getting a women to have sex with him. Buried deep in the man's genes is the fact that the more women he has sex with, the more women he gets pregnant = more babies carrying his genes and more humans to carry on the next generation.
But with women it's different. A woman can have sex with every man in the world but only get pregnant off of one and only have one baby. So what is it in these women that prompts them to run off with a total stranger when there's no chance for a relationship?

Women have on night stands for the same reason that men do. She just broke up and just need the Big O! She has a fear of commitment. She just wants to get laid. She thinks you're good enough for the night, but not a long time thing. She's horny. Any other questions?

Because they are probably hoping that it will turn into something more, or there is some deep seated self esteem issues they need to work out. Whether its a lack of self esteem, as in the female case, or the "desire to populate the earth" which you suppose is the male case (its a high libido and a lack of respect for women), its still a highly dysfunctional way to interact with the opposite sex, and psychologically damaging.

We do have one night stands....the reason may be that we are emotionally drained by men who wasted our time or left us high and dry and we just need a little sexual healing...one thing you might not know is that there are alot of women who do it as often as men...they club hop and have sex with strangers....ever wonder why you see all the women on the talk shows not knowing who the father of their children are.

For myself, i just enjoyed sex and had not met anyone i wanted to be committed to.
and this day and age, there are ways to help prevent from getting pregnant or an STD so we can have casual sex w/o the worry of contracting something or getting pregnant

Low self esteem. Woman seek validation from men via sex. it makes them feel worthy of themselves, satisfies loneliness and even sometimes, it's done out of self hatred. They feel so bad about themselves they act on that thinking they are bad and therefore should act the part. It's completely emotional. They may be looking for comfort or to stroke their ego.

i think some women do it for the same reason men do and others are in a dark place within themselves from a previous relationship or just to get some revenge on a lover that did them wrong

cuz women think about sex just as much as men and sometimes we don't want the relationship...sometimes we want that quick nut. It is somethin that you do when you have gone for like six months and you have gotten no action...you don't do it every weekend.

We lose our sense of judgement too.for me it was a loooong dry spell and I guess I craved a human touch.Is that so bad?
