As other's have said, there is no "proof" that heaven exists - God, Heaven, religion - they are all ideas and concepts based solely on faith - and, if they could be proven, then the deep meaning that the faith itself provides would lose something.

That being said, my guess is that you are trying to ask something more along the lines of, "Why do people believe in Heaven/God, etc?"

One could answer that question any number of ways. A gambler might say, well, if I believe, and I'm wrong, how much do I lose, but, if I'm right, what I gain will be immeasurable, so it's worth the bet to believe. An atheist or purely scientific mind might say that people have invented God/Heaven because people need something greater than themselves to believe in, and that people only believe the specifics of a religion because they were raised by their parents to believe the stories they were told, but that they see no direct physical evidence of such a concept, and, therefore, aren't willing to believe in something they, and no one else, can prove.

Personally, I don't think you need a reason to believe in God or Heaven, and that, while using our minds to explore the world around us is why we have minds in the first place, I also believe that, if you just pay attention to the things that really matter in life - the family and friends that you love and care about, the beauty of things around you, great and small, and that if you pay attention to the way you feel when you do something truly good - help a neighbor unexpectedly, help someone in need, give someone you love a hug just because, forgive someone just because - you will know in your heart that those things have a value and meaning beyond what we can see with our eyes or touch with our hands. To me, those things and the way they influence people when they just pay attention to them are the clues that we have to help us find our faith in God and in Heaven. It's not proof - but it's enough for me, and, if we all paid attention to those little things, then, perhaps it would be easier for everyone to believe that something as beautiful as a God who loves us, or a place like Heaven, really does exist.

There is none. No one has ever died and came back to tell about how heaven was. I really believe there is a higher power at work all around us every single day, but I can't honestly say I believe in the whole heaven (or hell) thing. When someone speaks of heaven or you see it on t.v. it's always the same thing, the clouds, god is huge and everyone you know that has died before you is there looking EXACTLY the same way they did when on earth. We only can imagine what it looks like. My theory on why everyone tends to believe in the whole heaven thing is that people want to believe that there has to be something much better after all this madness on earth. People want to believe in the fact that after their family members have departed from them that they are somewhere safe waiting on them to join them. So in death you enter heaven and everythings supposedly fine. But there is no proof of this.

Having walk about the "Firmament" with my brothers and my Father; amongst the wisps and mist that clear they way to show the wondrous beauty that the Land below could be.
Heaven and Hell exist in the same place; both at the same time; it falls to you to determine which your everlasting soul will see. Follow the "Light" at the end of your days, repent your sins from your heart of hearts, and the wonders of "Heaven will be yours to behold.
Every morning, as the Sun reaches the peak of the Horizon, Heaven can be observed; when the due covers the grass, as the early birds take flight; as the filth of the world has not yet encroached on the "Blue that is the "Firmament."
Step lightly for you may fear to fall from "grace;" for it is from "Heaven that one will fall; an endless fall into the abyss that is at once Earth and Hell, and Heaven if you make it so.
We have never left our heaven to come to earth, nor is hell a dwelling below. it is all around you; even now; marking your "goods" and your "evils."
At the time of the Awakening,; when god's wrath is kindled against evil men - you will see wonders.
Heaven is what you make of your life here on earth.

if you want a more literal meaning of heavens, it was used to describe what we now call space. where the stars and the planets exist are what the heavens were called. but if your talking about the pearly white gates, the road of gold, and what not. there is no proof, and the only way you'll ever find out is when you die. (and just because the bible says so doesnt make it any bit more true)

First of all if God showed you heaven then you wouldn't need ANY faith so what good would God be? He wants people that believe in him and in heaven and if you dont' that's fine; he gives everyone a choice, but he's not going to give you proof.

If you believe in the Bible, then that is a good start but if your looking for proof your never going to get it. If you dont' have the faith it exists without CSI proof, then you won't believe it exists.
Faith is believing without seeing. Good luck my friend.

Heaven does exist. The word in the Hebrew is "shamayim", which is really plural. It simply means the sky, abode of the stars, atmosphere. The book of Job gets more descriptive to give you exact location of heaven. Job 9:9 mentions Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades. These are star constellations, heavens.

The Bible say it is so.

You either believe or you don't.

WHAT IF, Armegeddon does come and there is a raputre and GOD calls on eveyrone.

Are YOU going to say, I don't believe so let me go back out into the world with the moletent river of fire!

What are Atheists going to do and say IF, big IF, but IF, it's real and God comes and offers to take those away whose names are in the book of life and some Atheists are in that book.

Will Atheists continue to say, this is no God and I don't want to leave and go to this heaven place, I'd rather stay on the scourched Earth!

Is anyone that stupid!

You're in a room that's cool and clean, with nice AC. Outside it is hot, burning, fire, moltent lava from volcanos. This guy, GOD is offering to take you to a better place.

You say NO WAY!

Who is THAT dumb!

Simply ask yourself again: "What proof do I have that a girl exist in the other side of the world?" From a distant you could see the strips of light rays from the side lamp. On closer view, you do not see them. Does that mean that the rays did not exist as they do before? We do not see them on close up because our eyes decieved us.Just so, there are others who have seen them with perfect eye consciousness, knew that they exist. So until we have developed a perfect eye consciousness, we must rely on the words and advice of others based on faith. Beside, whether heaven exist or not is not an important issue in our daily practice of compassion, loving kindness shown to others and doing good deeds
Take care.

Go outside and look up. That's heaven. The modern thinking of heaven as some metaphysical place was invented when men finally realized the sky was not a fixed firmament where a god could live. When the Bible was written, there was no distinction between what they thought of as heaven, and what we think of as the sky. They literally believed god lived in the sky.

I have absolutely no proof that I could offer to anyone that heaven exists. I believe the bible, so I believe that it does....but I have no proof other than "God says so". Of course, there are lots of people who don't believe the bible is God's word.
