It sounds like she has been wronged or hurt in the past and is now defensively withdrawing from people to avoid further hurt. Her non-interest in housework may be due to deep, underlying depression. It may be that it was her mother who abused her, and that's why she doesn't like her. You could offer her your friendship, but you can't force it on her. Simply make your friendship available to her. Otherwise, stay out of her business unless her children are suffering.

Sounds like she is suffering from depression - it can make a person not only sleepy and isolated, but sometimes irritable, self-centered, etc.
That doesn't mean she is not "normal." Depression is just an illness that can be treated and even cured with the right help and time.
Depression is a chemical imbalance, but can be partly caused or made worse by problems the person had when they were growing up, if they were not taught how to deal with emotions well.
If you want to try to help her, you might try inviting her for dinner or better yet, to go for walks with you a few times a week. Exercise is great help for people who have depression.

in keeping with risk it particularly is like Santa, my mum suggested it became somewhat certainly one of Santa's helpers, no longer the genuine one, using fact he became busy interior the workshop preparing for Christmas. So in keeping with risk you will basically finally end up talking to a minimum of certainly one of God's helpers somewhat. Did you ever see Beetlejuice? that concept of heaven as a waiting room, taking a variety and arranged jointly as some undesirable overtaxed lady is sitting at a table attempting to technique all the hot applicants!

No matter why she keeps to herself, respect her privacy. Just offer yourself as a good neighbor who is willing to be open to her when and if she needs you. I have known plenty of people like that. Sometimes I am the only one they choose to contact, however seldom that may be. If you treat her with respect and acceptance, you may be doing her a real service.

Maybe she has a hard demanding job and needs her rest. Or maybe she just doesn't like people bugging her. Or is depressed. To ask this question about her shows to me why she wouldn't want to be friends with her noisy gossipy neighbors. Maybe she knows you all talk about her and bash her.

She's a loner. That's just who she is. It's not nice, but it's normal. If she's abusing her children, then that's one thing, but if she just doesn't want to talk to people, then don't talk to her.
