Oh, contrare, peoples!!! Slurpees aren't just syrup and ice, like slushees.

They are a frozen beverage that is blended with soda. And SOOO much better!!!

"Slurpee" is a brand name, trademarked by 7-Eleven. A slushie is a generic name for the product. It's like the difference between "Pepsi" and "cola".

its a matter of trademark. icee, slurpie, and slushies are all name brands of the same thing by different companies.
