I believe that Love will make you do things that you would normally suggest other people to do otherwise.

Take for instance: Your significant other breaks up with you. Now, you want to call him/her. But your friends tell you not to.
When your the one in love, you see things in a totally different angle, while other people see it at a more logical angle.

"Love will make you do f***ed up things"

It means that you take or love this person for whatever, however and whenever. I don't know if you ever heard that song by E V E "love is blind it'll take over your mind what you think is love is really not you beter elevate and find" But here on her video she also talked about a friend of hers who was murdered by her boyfreind b/c she wouldn't leave him. All for LOVE.

This means that little things don't get in the way of things that matter. Whether it be an extra 15 pounds, 5 day stubble or bad morning breath. You are able to over look those things because of the Love that makes up for them.

Different translations of the bible would suggest love and charity are synonmus. Examples found in.1st Corrinthians ch. 13 vs. 1-17 illustrate this many times. I would enjoy hearing from a scholar of the languages used in those past times to clarify my understanding. The story of the "World's Poorest Philanthropist", Gilbert "Harold" Ewing II (myself) is the reason for this querry. The " act of grace", or charity, reffered to in the news interview, has posited this question and I lack the sort of education to provide any insights of true value.

First love or passion, you don't really see the other person for themselves. You don't see any of their faults or really not into thinking of things that may bother you big time later in your love life. After the period of Love is Blind is the shared love in each other when you accept that the one you love has a few faults but it's OK because you have faults and he accepts your faults too.
