It's a nervous habit. Could be because of stress or anxiety. I do it, and notice that I do it especially when I'm stressed. My dentist gets quite concerned sometimes.

it's just a habit, like some people twitch their feet, others tap their fingers. I do it, too. As long as you aren't causing canker sores or making your mouth bleed, it's not a big deal.

Eh yeah. One of the carryouts has cerebral palsy so his movement is kind of choppy and he often has that white foam at the edge of his mouth. But he is like super funny and awesome.

Are you nervous,stressed, or anxious about something? Sounds like it. That may be how it started and now it has become habit.

it means nothing its a bad habit like biting your nails you keep it up you will make your gums bleed and risk infection in your mouth or bite your tongue
