I got married at 27 and yes, I thought it was old. I'm 28 now and been married a year - my husband is 36. We got engaged 3 months after meeting when I was 25 and he was 33 so considering the time we've been together, it worked out great. But lots of people get married a lot earlier...I know people who have 4 kids and they are 27....so it depends on when you meet the right person.

No, definitely not! Survey says that 25 is the average age to get married (for women); so that means that there are women that are on the early end of the spectrum, and women on the late end of the spectrum, but seriously? I don't think it matters what age you get married.

The latest I ever heard was Gloria Steinem, an author and feminist, who had her first marriage by the age of either 43 or 63, I can't remember.

27 and up is a good age to get married. I was 28 when I got married.

Absolutely not. Why would you think so? Times have changed (at least in the US). 30+ years ago women married young (18 was a popular age). They didn't typically go to college after high school and didn't start a career. Now, women go to college, start a career, even buy a home and THEN get married (that's how I did it!)..

No, 27 is not too late to get married. Your mature enough at that age to realize what life can throw at you.

for god's sake are you one of those people that thinks once you hit 20 you are not a valid person anymore? The later you marry the better as far as I am concerned, more life experience and less romantic expectancies, meaning as you get older your head is screwed on the right way, and you can see what marriage is about rather than thinking it is all about dressing up like a "princess" for the day.

no not at all I'm 26 and I'm not even thinking of getting married i want to make sure I'm ready money wise and stuff before i get married it will be better that way i think. because you don't want to start off worried about money and were to live. so no 27 is not to late.

No. My mother got married at 28. 27 I would say is pretty average, or even young these days.

Not at all! It's never "too late" to get married and, at least in my circle of aquaintences, getting married before the age of 25 is almost considered "too young."

A gal should get married when she has found a man with whom she wants to spend the rest of her life. (And that man feels the same!)
