It was given as a gift from a family friend oh ya my husbands Mexican and speaks spanish, I know enough to have a conversation but wasn't 100% on some words, and to the jack a** who asked why I'd put my child in a shirt that I didn't know what it said, well I knew some what ok

So why not ask your husband? Does he mind your son wearing it? I mean, it's about him. If your son and husband know what it means and they like it, then okey-dokey.
I guess it loses a little in translation. I wonder if that's a common phrase? I mean, I understand what it means, but it doesn't seem all that funny to me. I guess it's out of context or something. But man, some English phrases don't make a lick of sense to Spanish speakers when you try to translate them.

You've really got to know the language fully (like it's slang and all) before you could be 100% sure (unless someone you know does) because you cannot literally translate one word for another. That's why online translators don't work well, because it translates one word at a time. It's like my French teacher told me:
"No language is a translation of another, it is it's OWN language."

Why would you buy a shirt for your child when you don't know what it says? That is very irresponsible. It's called Parenting- you should look into it.

first of all you shouldnt have bought the shirt if you didnt know what it said. it could have meant "my dad is gay,any men want to take a crack at him!"
