You need to take Dawn Dish washing liquid and Arm and Hammer Baking Soda and mix them together to a toothpaste consistency and then apply it all over damp hair, then put a hot towel from the dryer on your head, let it sit for 15-20 min., no longer and then rinse and shampoo very well, and then follow up with a very good conditioner. Understand though that store bought shampoos and conditioners are not going to do the job because you have completely dried the hair and scalp while removing the green so you need to put the nutrients back, just go to your local salon and ask for a really good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and you will be on the road to recovery, in the mean time make sure that you also pick up a spray in detangler or leave-in conditioner and spray it on the hair before you get in the pool and this will prevent from green getting back in the hair.

Go to a Beauty Supply shop..
They carry shampoo just for this.
Your most likely a blond. This happened to me once. My hair was frosted pretty heavy, the shampoo got all the green out. This shampoo is only sold in a beauty supply shop, not Target or Walmart.

There is a shampoo called Scruples. It has a formula made especially for blonde hair that has been damaged by the pool. It smells minty and it makes your hair so soft. You have to get it at the salon.

It depends, if your hair is dyed blonde than you should go see the beautician because chlorine can turn the dye green for awhile...you're usually supposed to wait awhile before swimming with dyed hair, or atleast wash it immdediately before and after swimming. if your hair is natural then there are several shampoos for chlorine damaged hair.

They have a special shampoo at the beauty supply stores, My daughters hair turns bright green. My hair dresser also said if you get your hair wet before getting in it helps, which it did, as it doesn't soak up the chlorine so much at first.
