I have healthy hair and I don't want to ruin. Where/what are the best flat irons and where do I buy one?

A good straightner has smooth plates so they don't snag & pull your hair while you are using it. I would also try to get one that has multiple heat settings. The most popular/widely available kind of straightners are the ones with ceramic plates. Also when you use a straightner be sure to use a thermal protector(you can find these at mass retail stores or your fave salon) and watch the setting you have your straightner on. If it is too hot for your hair type it can burn your hair.

i would go to the hair dresser and ask to order an ethnic hair straightener. It doesnt matter if your of color or not. they are made to straighten ppl with african american hair . that type of hair is very fine so it wouldnt damage your hair.
hope it helps
good luck

i have thick wavy hair too, and what works best for my hair is the chi straightener. you can probably order one through your hairdresser, or order one online.

Use a Chi straightener, and after you straighten it, put BioSilk on it!
