Your body cools itself in many ways...sweating, breathing harder, and bringing blood up to the surface of the skin into the little capillaries. That is what is happening. Will it change? Yes, as you get in better shape, the routine will not cause such hardship and heating up of your body and you will breathe easier, sweat less, and turn less red.
Keep it up though....congrats on the new lifestyle!

First, congratulations on deciding to be healthier and taking care of yourself.
When you exercise, your brain tells your body to get ready to fight, because that is what it thinks you are doing. Adrenalin shoots into your veins from a couple glands on top of your kidneys and makes your blood flow faster- so you can fight, or run away from, anything that may harm you. Remember, your brain does not know the difference between a gym machine and a saber-toothed tiger. This causes your face to flush.
If you are not used to exercise, go back into it slowly. See a doctor before you get to much into it and see how much the Doc thinks you can handle, taking into consideration your weight, height, history, vital signs, etc.

Honey, its probably because your blood pressure is up. All the people I know that work out get red when they work out, it may be your blood pressure or may not be. But like I said everyone gets red when they work out.
