There is no biblical viewpoint on this one (please don't refer to the Old Testament - that was meant for the EARLY Israelites and not us). Why shouldn't a wife sleep on her own bed for any other reason? I think you should remind your church to stop wasting time on trivial matters such as this one. Finding out whether it is wrong or right (or just plain stupid) for a woman to sleep on her own bed while menstruating won't even earn God's approval. If your church is concerned about issues such as this, then I would suggest you go look for another church that really studies God's word and follows it.
The only biblical viewpoint I can give you is Ephesians 5:25 - "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her..."

Do you follow the old testament? It's in Leviticus to stay away from menstruating women.
However, that is just gd ridiculous. It is a perfectly natural part of life. Should a man have his own bed because of wet dreams. There is nothing gross or unclean about menstruation. It may not look very pretty, but that is a pretty integral part of a woman's biology and a pretty key component in reproduction, which seems to be quite important to the religious. It's insulting to me, as a woman, that we should be banned because of something so central to our biology.

I don't understand how this is a spiritual question, nevertheless why a wife should sleep in a different bed while menstruating. If the wife wants to sleep elsewhere for comfort, let her. But don't kick her out of her own bed! This is ridiculous. If you are worried about a bit of leakage, lay an old towel or blanket down on the bed.

That was in the Old Testement under the Law when people demanded leaders and laws.
That was never God's will. God created the menstrual cycle in women by His divine plan for the wonderful purpose of creating life.
God allowed laws and leaders because the people demanded to have kings as other nations did. He wanted to show people how messed up worshipping a human king is and how cumbersome and impossible man's law is.
No, a woman should not be removed from her bed for being on her period anymore than a man should be removed from his bed for having diarhhea.

I understand the debate is base on the Mossaic Law which states that a woman during her menstration period is considered unclean and that anything she touches is unclean and that anyone touching her or things she has touched also becomes unclean. This has no bearing on Christians who are not under the Mossaic Law but the law of the Christ or the law of love. It is however still wrong to have sex with a woman who is menstrating.

OMG, what the hell does your church care when people are menstruating. It happens once a month to every woman. It's not gross or sinful. Do you have a daughter? How do you think a 12 year old first getting her period is going to feel when she hears this crap.
Maybe men should get their own bed for morning wood.

Biblically, this was done because of the lack of effective hygeine products to keep the bed from getting spoiled from accidents. Today their is no need for this concern. It was only a law in olden times for health reasons, which is of little concern today. Not so much as a blood issue, but a health issue. Femeinie products, soap, disenfectants and hot water at a bacteria-killing- tenperature were not available then as of today.

You need to find a new church (or stop going altogether), and you need to stop looking to the Bible for instructions on how to live. Do you think it's right to kick a wife out of bed when she's menstruating? I hope not.

While the Bible probably says somewhere that it is a sin/abomination for a man to "lay" with his wife while she is menstruating, I'm sure they don't mean it in the literal sense, they mean to just take a week off once a month. Don't have sex for on week out of the month. The Bible is for interpreting, remind your fellow churchmembers of that.
