God judges the repented heart. If the murderer is sincere he will be forgiven. But I also believe that even if the victim does not say the words but is repented in his/her heart that person will be forgiven also. If the victim is not repented in his/her heart then they will not be forgiven.
However, this senerio only works if the repented person has also accepted Christ.

To be saved or obtain salvation, the mind state at the moment of death is expremely important. A sincere repentant heart can save a dying person from falling into hell, but not necessary being reborn into heaven. As I have said, the mind state is critical. If there was compassion and thought of holiness, the chances are improved for a heavenly destination. The victim would have already died. And where he goes to be reborn is also dependent on his state of mind at moment of being murdered.
Take care.

We are all sinners (Rom. 3:23), justly deserving death. The only way to salvation of one's soul is not simply repent, but have faith (trust and obedience) in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. From your question, you do not state anything about this pivotal issue...so there is no definitive answer from the information you have provided.
Remember, even King David committed murder over lust for a woman. David was in the lineage of Christ. David wrote the Psalms. God surely forgives those who believe.
On the other hand, I'm sure there are plenty of good, respectable people who never profess a faith in anything, and are innocent victims of accidents and crimes. Will they enter the kingdom of God? Surely not...not without faith in Christ.

According to what I believe, if a murderer truly repents, he is forgiven. If a victim is in a state of grievious sin he may be condemned to hell. Remember, we are cautioned to live each day as if it is our last bcause death may come like a thief in the night, but only God knows for sure. How can anyone answer you without their individual background in a particular faith?

If the victim did not know Jesus Christ as ones LORD & Saviour, that person is not in heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ & God. Unless victim was under the age of accountability. I am not saying the victim (of accountable age) went to hell. Person went to where the dead go whether it is the sea, dead or hell.
If the victim was actually a born-again believer, that person goes to Heaven to forever be with the LORD & gets great rewards.
If murderer repents for not believing in Jesus Christ & acknowledged to God ones a sinner needing a Saviour, confessing Jesus Christ Lord of ones life, and believes in ones heart that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the remission of ones sins and rose from the dead for ones justification; Then that person is a new creation in Christ Jesus. Old things are passed away. All things become new. The old hard hearted murderer is gone. The new man in Christ is alive forever. He becomes a child of God. And when person dies goes to heaven to be forever with the LORD.

Well, technically according to Christianity the victim
would get to fry with Lucifer while the murderer can eat
grapes off an angel's breasts in heaven.
Honestly though,to me nobody gets saved.
The murderer has to live with the guilt forever &
the victim,..he's dead.
What is saved' anyway?

It's a little more complicated than that. Repenting your sins and being saved are two different things. If both are Christians (saved) then they will probably both go to Heaven. If you have sins that you havent repented when you die you will go to purgatory until you are pure enought to go to Heaven.

that isa very dsifrficult question you have just ask if the murdere repents his sin s and aks for forgiveness form god he is then free from sin but not free from sin but as long as he does not do it again he is free from sin and burden because god has forgivene him howver inreality he is not free from the law and technically he will serve so whilst he is free from sin and burden in relaity is free as far as the poor victim is concerned the life of this victim has been taken but if you pray for the victim in church and they have a funerla in church then the victim can rest in peace because god has recvived in his mloviong arms. iam afraid iam no expert you will have to contact your local vicar fro this advice as it something i find to difficult to comprehend.

The murderer, God told us that if we repent of our sins then we are saved, as long as he was truly repentent in his heart then his sin is forgiven, remember all sin is the same in Gods eyes.
