Why is the world in so much of ahurry to get infomation about nothing, everyone just has to have a DAMN cell phone

I have a cell phone ... for emergency use only. I use it very seldom, it's one of those pay as you go phones. It doesn't work in Canada though, and that is where I live ... but I travel to the states a lot, and that is when I use it in case of road emergency.
I don't have a landline ... lol ... I use the internet for all my communication with the outside world.
Works for me!
I know what you mean ... drives me nuts to deal with drivers on cell phones paying no attention to the road ... and people on cell phones in restuarants, on trains, etc .. where I am happy to be away from technology for a break!
