I am 13 and 7 months old and i am only 4'9 and a half tall- is it normal?
how can i get taller? i heard about growth sperts... do they just happen at night on one certain day what if i dont get sleep on that day though i dont get it! is this normal for a guy? my mom is short i am already just as tall as my mom exactly i may be half an inch taller and my dad is normal height he is about 5'8 soo will i get taller

You are not done growing.....your height at this time is perfectly normal.....growth spurts do not happen all in one night. Do not despair....I went to high school with a guy who was 5'4'' tall when we graduated. I ran into him a year later, and he was 6'3"!!!!Granted, that is unusual, but still, you are not done growing until about 25 yrs old. True enough, most people have finished growing by the age of 18, but not all.

At 13 you still have some time to grow. Girls tend to reach full height by 14-15, guys can grow until like 17-18. I'm 5' 3" and my 12 year old daughter is already taller than me - and you think you have problems - you know what 12 year old girls are like! It doesn't matter how tall you are, there's not much you can do about it.

Being that you are 13 you are probably just going threw puberty now. Not everyone goes threw puberty at the same age. Genetics from your mom's side could take over for your height though and maybe you will be short. Or you may grow to be 5"8 like your dad. You won't know for sure for the next couple years. you could talk toy our doctor. They can tell what kinda height you'll have sometimes. i've been 5"2 since I was 13 (girls go threw puberty usually sooner than boys do) I like being short. Short and Sweet I always say !

You WILL grow, just give it time. You're family are not in general tall just average so this probably means that you have no underlying problem to relate this to. You're only young and over the next few years im sure you'll get a lot taller.

You will grow, you're only 13. My cousin went through the same thing, shortest kid in the class, didn't grow until he was 15, and now he is 17 and 5'11". I remember I was the shortest kid in school and then I hit a growth spurt one summer and I came back and I wasn't the tallest kid, but I was definitely average. It doesn't happen over night, it happens over several weeks. Usually. You'll grow, you're not weird, or below average. Don't worry.

well, since your a guy your prolly going to grow later than girls your age, the only thing i know that can help you grow faster is:
eat healthy
workout often (but don't over do it.)

you grow until about 18 yrs old.
and being short isnt that bad, im 34 yrs old and 5'5".
