The kind you get at Japanese restuarants please. Anyone know how to make that? Thanks.

Thanks for all your answers. I should have added that this dressing is white (looks almost like milk) and slightly sweet and I'm pretty sure there isn't any peanut anything in it). I've seen the ones on the recipe websites and they are not it. Again, thanks for answering.

Jalapeno Salad Dressing


1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lime juice
6 slices pickled jalapeno peppers, coarsely chopped (from a jar)
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon paprika

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth.
Cover and chill.
Serve over a salad of mixed greens, sliced onions, avocados, chopped pecans and sweetened dried cranberries.

Famous Japanese Restaurant-Style Salad Dressing

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup peanut oil
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
2 tablespoons minced celery
2 tablespoons ketchup
4 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons white sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper


DIRECTIONS:
In a blender, combine the minced onion, peanut oil, rice vinegar, water, ginger, celery, ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper . Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds or until all of the ingredients are well-pureed.


Japanese Ginger Salad Dressing

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 lemon, juiced
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon prepared Dijon-style mustard
2 teaspoons honey
ground black pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, mustard, honey and pepper. Once these are thoroughly combined, add the oil in a steady stream, whisking constantly. When all of the oil is incorporated into the dressing, pour into a glass jar and chill until serving.

my boss yoshia 73 makes this frozen ice cream to put on palm salad you either hate it or love it lettuce peaches pineapple fresh palm dates and then equal parts van ice cream and mayo gallon size add 1 quart peanut butter that been mixed with 2 6oz cans pineapple juice untill creammy blend soft stage add bottle green food coloring refrezze and add 2 large scopes on salad charge 6. 95 this is a good seller in our small town

I just love this simple easy japanese salad....julliened cucumbers julliened carrots julliened celery...strips of crabsticks....add mayonnaise a bit of salt and sugar...white pepper and cut nori bits then topped with ebiko or thier yellow roe....serve in a bed of lettuce....very delicious
