Absolutely not. It is unfeasable to think you can do that. Not only would the expense be out of reach, so would the process be untenable.

It is a mistake to deprot those who are productive members of a society even if they are illegally here. To criminalize the illegal entry into this country is a very big mistake.

A great many of those here now, are paying taxes with false ss numbers, knowing they may never be able to get social security. (ask any tax office) Not only that, the government issues them numbers to file taxes under. Then the media turns around and says what a drain they are on our medical system etc.. when they have been paying taxes like the rest of us they should have access to the same medical facilities the rest of us do.

People have to start going back where they're from, and take care of things there, it's the only way the issue will be resolved long-term. Nothing else will get the job done save the actions of the citizens of the countries themselves, no amount of 'help' from our country will do for the people what they need to stand up and take care of themselves. I believe people deserve a second chance, but Mexico's working on their 62nd or 63rd 'chance' here, and it's become permanent dependency, and frankly, I don't know how our country's supposed to support Mexico anymore. Yes, their citizens need to move home, and
show some of that 'hard work' in the form of knocking together some hospitals, some schools, some roads, and some police stations, and and and. They're going to have to discover that volunteer spirit, and flat do it for themselves. And, everyone hanging around in the United States trying to work for 3 bucks an hour isn't getting the job done.

With all of the agricultural expertise apparently present in the body of the mexican citizenry who've made america their second home, it's kind of amazing that there aren't mega-farms in Mexico or something exporting around the globe, and making a mint doing it. Mexico's practically in the tropics, they benefit by virtue of their latitude, they could FULLY capitalize on green-tech because of that, and run lower-cost eco-green fabrication plants to make goods for export, and sell the output on eBay for all I know/care. We're talking legitimate money, here. Mexico's gotta grow, modernize, all that good stuff, and as long as a good portion of their able-bodied working population's hanging out in the United States, it's not gonna happen. Let's see, Mexico could be making the most of its' own mineral resources, exporting sea salt around the planet and making good money doing it, what else, oh yeah at some point someone mentioned something about GOLD in Mexico, don't know how true it is, point is there's economic opportunity for the hard-bitten entrepreneur, there's room for a lot of positive growth and change I think in Mexico, but again as long as their workforce just migrates north, a lot of that may never really be realized.

It takes 1 of 2 things to move forward in business, seed capital or 'sweat equity', and with a 1 trillion dollar GDP and many able hands, the potential is there for both, I think, but connecting A and B seems to be a Real Problem, somehow, if they really went nuts with it, someday Mexico could give us a run for the money economically, even, and help their southern neighbors with their reforms too. But, it takes the Will Of The People to do stuffl like that, and the results we've seen so far for years is the will to pinch every penny they can grab out of the United States, legally or otherwise. I think Mexico needs to start calling out to their citizens to come home and help. A wonderful transformation is within reach, but they really gotta want it and be unified in their goal that that's what they want.

It ain't gonna happen...
Those millions of illegal aliens are the lower backbone of this economy... They are built into the entire country's work ethic now... We depend on lower costs for food and some services the illegals provide... and to that end, no one else wants to do the work they do even for increased wages... So don't bet on many people other than provened criminals being deported anytime soon...

Yes, but it will clog our systems with appeals and such before they are actually deported. I think it is more realistic to assume we'll ebb the flow of new illegal immigrants than actually get rid of those here. Tho, I think we should still deport them all and reward those that go through the system.

NO Washington is so full of PU$$YS that they can't decide what to do, all they have is catfights instead of working on a solution to this mass problem of Illegals here in the U.S.

I doubt it. It is too much work for them to do. Just to let all those ignorant people know. Some illegal immigrants pay taxes. When we were illegal we paid taxes. All you have to do is go to the IRS and file for a tax id number and pay for your taxes that way. We did so for 12 years until we got legal citizenship.

Yes, but nothing will change. Both parties have a vested interest in having them here.

Better to fix the system by forcing employers to pay either higher wages to immigrants or a social tax for their costs and insurance.

We won't even HAVE to deport them!!!! They will DEPORT THEMSELVES soon!!!!! Citys, towns, and states are passing ordinances AGAINST illegal aliens!!! This includes anyone who hires them, rents to them, or helps them in ANY way!!!!!! When illegals have NO jobs, and NO place to live, they will LEAVE on their own!!!!

They are not aliens, they are immigrants.

The gov will not deport them since you guys have taken it into your hands to critise and exasperate them.. That has punished them enough and no deportation is necessary now...
