i know this is a dumb question but it seems like everyone wants to move here.my biggest problem is that immigrants disrespect americans all the time and they can get away with it.my question is why dont they just stay in there country of birth and make it better? i am not trying to be racist here.

Er... uh... I really think you need to look at just WHERE all of these people who want to come to the U.S are COMING FROM.!

I hate to pop your bubble, but, for the most part, the only people who want to immigrate to the U.S. are coming from 3rd world countries. There aren't too many Europeans, Brits, Austrailians, Japanese etc who are lining up at the visa issuing station, breathlessly trying to get into the U.S. to live.

That is not entirely true ... we have comparatively few immigrants from developed countries, Europe, Australia etc. The immigration from these countries is mainly marriage or work/business related ... what creates the problem is the influx of immigrants from poor and/or oppressed countries, third world countries if you like ...

One of the reasons is of course that the U.S. can offer them so much more than they have in their home countries ...BUT another big reason is that very few countries, the U.S. being an exception, would accept poor and uneducated people as immigrants ... most countries have a merit system, they look for what is good for the host country, not the prospective immigrant ... take for example Australia, or Canada ...if you have no family ties and no education or marketable skills ... if you are outside a certain age range, you don't have a hope in hell ....

For legal immigrants - they wanna come here because the education system is better, the job pays more money, and more freedom.

For illegal immigrants - they can get out of their sh** hole & their awful governments... and make a better living in the US.

As though they never tried this before....

Citizens have shed their blood, tried to overthrow their gov and tried all sorts of influence to bring change but it didn't work...

The developing countries still are immersed in poverty, famines and corruption.. why wouldn't anybody consider moving to greener pastures? USA, UK, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Denmark etc
