an error messege "not enough free memory or disk space" flashes, but i KNOW that i have enough freespace (11 gigs on the hard drive and my i never come close to exceeding ram space). i tried the whole "locate Normal.dot and rename it" trick, but that doesn't work. word doesn't even open when i use the "winword.exe a\" prompt. I've updated it with SP3 and I found no add-ins associated with the (Word) startup folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

definite you may pal. continuously save on your concepts the rule of thumb in record establishing from an old to a clean version of software: "information from the older variations are continuously supported through the hot one yet information from a clean software to an older version of software isn't."
