Why do African Americans like watermellons and fried chick so much?

I was a waitress and they also like Sweet Tea, Lemonaid & Fried Catfish....
Have no clue why they like it - maybe because they like homemade stuff.
As for all other races I never noticed any particular menu items being ordered all of the time aside from Coke or Pepsi... Hee hee.
