We have been hearing the cries for ceturies about if we do this or that it will be a crisis. Everytime we invent something to make it easier and cheaper to do whatever with very little labor if any at all.Our families came here and adapted to the culture and became Americans the right way and learned the language and how is that fair to them .

Your funny. But it wont just be a lettuce crisis it will be a tomatoe crisis too! And oranges. But it wont be a crisis if you live next to the farm. So I guess we need to move next to the farms now and raid them at night while the farmers sleep.

Would it really be a crisis if lettuce fell off the face of the earth? The price would adjust and we probably would be better off.

Really??? There was a study done on this, and research showed that the PRICE of produce would only raise FRACTIONALLY!!!!
And, even if it DID go up significantally, i would STILL rather pay a few cents MORE for veggies than i would paying BILLIONS more for ILLEGALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it has been proven over and over again that the cost of produce would rise by approx $10/year ... hardly noticeable on your grocery bill would you think?
