Horiscopes are a type of divinition...and so it is a serious offence against God. I used to be really wrapped up the knowing all about my "sign." All my friends were into astrology. It was the "thing" to do. I read everything I could about it all the time knowing it wasn't good for me. Then one day I read that person's born under my "moon" on my birthdate were destined to either die in childbirth or else their children would die at birth. I shut the book I read this in and walked away from astrology for good. Unfortunately the bad effects astrology had on me stayed with me for years and years. Horrible things happened to me and it was not until I sought the help of a Catholic priest that I was finally free from demonic hold that was on me. My life is so much better now. I know others who have also had this same experience of bad things happening in their life after they sought the "help" of a fortune teller or tarot card read or were also wrapped up in astrology...It's not a Godly thing to do.
People argue that the Vatican has in it a figurine with the signs of the horoscope. True, but that has to do with astronomy, not astrology. And anyway, the earth's axis has changed since the beginnings of astrology and so the "signs" are not really what they were in the beginning. So no, one can only believe in God....not both astrology and God at the same time.

It would depend on which god you believe in. I'm not christian, but I believe in god. I also believe in horoscopes in a general sorta way. They aren't meant to be taken specifically but rather generally. Believing in horoscopes is a personal thing so follow you heart and head and come up with what feels best for you.

Horoscope is a joke. Furthermore is a form of worsiping the stars which is distinctly against gods word. Interpreting the stars is what god put them there for, however now we have the bible in written language which takes the place of the stars and is where many ancient religions went wrong. Many of them worship the stars and not the story they tell and truth they bring.

The first commandment states " I am the Lord, thy God, thou shalt not have strange gods before Me." In Catholicism while preparing for confession one should examine their conscience and ask themselves if they sinned against religion by seriously believing in New Age, Scientology, Astrology Horoscopes, Fortune Telling, Superstition or engaging in the Occult? Have fame, fortune, money, career, pleasure, etc. replaced God as their highest priority?

Don't you hate it when the answer is a question?

Are you Christian?

There are many who believe in God but aren't Christian. Christianity teaches that horoscopes are a form of divination and thus forbidden by scripture.

That depends entirely on what God you believe in.
The god of this world (Satan) will begin by using horoscopes to give you a feeling of power and security, but will eventually use them to enslave you.
The God who created the universe asks us: "Why do you ask questions to the stars? For they know nothing of what passes upon the Earth."

Astrology originates in Mesopotamia and was used by Assyrians and Babylonians and Greeks. All at one time fought against Gods chosen people. Astrology was used by magic practicing priests ( 3 wise men) to lead Herod to where the messiah lay as an infant. Fortunately Jesus' family fled to Egypt but the practice lead to the slaughter of innocents under the age of 2. How can Astrology be godly ??

I once believed in astrology and wasted many hours making natal charts, etc. But I've since learned that we dwell in a world of illusions and delusions, and the Truth cannot be found in the world without help - even if we look directly at it. Although I believe psychic phenomena are valid, astrology, tarot, numerology, psychic readings, and other similar things are for the simple-minded and gullible - of which the world possesses in surplus!
