Evolution is a theory which has not been proven and thus it fits nowhere. Genesis is scriptural base and as such it shows us the view of God creating the world which is correct. It is impossible for life to emerge from no life and among other things there is no evidence of macroevolution, basically a species changing into a totally different species. You however, have microevolution which is going on even now, basically adaptation of a species or the rearrangement in DNA in a species group like you have the dog family and within that family you have wolf, fox, etc. but they are all still dog apart of the dog family.
Some people think Job 41:1, NIV, is talking about dinosaurs. "Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope?” Or Job 40:15, “Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox.“ There are many other verses in the Bible about dragons that are considered references about dinosaurs, as well. Most Bible scholars suggest that the descriptions in Job are of crocodiles or of hippopotamus. Both lived in the Near East in those days. It is tempting to think that dragons are a faded memory of dinosaurs, but we cannot be sure. We can only speculate.
Why did God not take dinosaurs into the ark? In Genesis 6:12 we find the answer. “And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” Satan, the being who rebelled against God, cannot create, but he can change. The entrance of sin into the world allowed Satan to corrupt humans and other living creatures. Now we have leaves changed to thorns, teeth changed to poison fangs, genes changed into viruses and useful bacteria into disease producers. Satan corrupted some of the reptiles God originally created into the bizarre creatures we call dinosaurs. God chose not to save them at the time of the Flood. Perhaps God also saw that feeble post-flood humans would not be able to control such large animals. Thus, we suggest that God preserved the air-breathing, land animals, except the very large animals and the corrupted ones.

They don't at all. Genesis gives the historical account of the creation process and the resulting affect of sin upon mankind. Evolution is a hoax. Evolution is not compatible with anything in Scripture.

If the theory of evolution was true and we evolved from monkeys, what has caused the monkeys to stop evolving? Can no one look at the theory that God created man out of dirt and created the solar system in 6 days and still created science to do it with?
Animals may have the natural selection and survival of the fittest, but who is to say that God didn't put that instinct into animals? Who is to say that God didn't create the big bang theory? We as human beings have a 98% similarity to a chimp. Do you want to tithink that you uncle was monkey swinging through the trees before he learned to drive a car? There is proof that God does exist and that Jesus was here. I would think that if he could create the world in 6 days he could create the science to do it with.

Genesis was the theory 2000 years ago.
Evolution is the theory now.
Genesis was disproven long ago, and rational people realize this. Unfortunately, many people don't. And rather than accept the fact that it was primitive science, and laughably innaccurate, these people devote their entire lives to making excuses why it appears to be untrue. This sort of behavior is both amusing and frustrating for atheists. We're amused at watching Christians scramble and backpedal. But we're also frustrated that they can be SO stubborn and irrational at the same time...

They don't.
Evolution is an opiate of the masses. Even Charles Darwin eventually said, "Yeah...that was a bad idea. It doesn't even make sense to me." They said he was suffering from "delusions" and burned that book. (Not a direct quote, by the way, I'm just paraphrasing, no jumping on me.)
I believed in Evolution until I THOUGHT about it. It doesn't make any sense to me. It makes a TON more sense that we were created. The very fact that we can speak, to me, means that evolution couldn't have happened.
(Our ability to talk is actually a de-evolution. New born babies can't make speech sounds because their "voice box" is too high. They also can't choke. Around 3-5 months a baby will start choking on it's bottle. This is normal becaue the voice box is lowering itself. At the end of this period, they can make speech sounds; they can also die from choking. Imagine you are the first person ever to nurse a child who suddenly starts choking. I remember the first time it happened to me, I totally freaked out. But I knew what to do. It just makes a ton more sense to me that anyone who evolved enough to be able to talk would die off sooner than they could mate with someone else with ability to talk. That's just one reason I don't believe in Evolution.)

Am I wrong or there are republicans here?
I read once that Genesis was written during Solomon's kingdom to explain how the world was created. Science just investigates that.
Remember not to take the bible in a literally way.

Phill Collins and Peter Gabriel were both good Genesis Front-man's, they do have the song they did together "Take me home" which undoes the tree of knowledge transfer of consciousness

Easy, "genesis" was the name of the project in "The Wrath of Kahn" that started the rapid evolution of a dead moon or planet and made it produce water, plants, animals etc.....
Good stuff, good times.
