Up until the last Century it was typically better for a Jew to live in a Muslim country over a Christian one. Doesn't mean we were treated good just better then the Christians were at the time.

Jews, Christians and Muslims all lived together peacefully (for the most part) for quite a while - it was the creation of the nation of Israel in 1948 against the wishes of the rest of the Arab world that started the modern conflict

Yes, Jews have always fared better under Muslim rule than Christian rule. In 1492 during the Spanish Inquisition when the Roman Catholic Church expelled all Jews under penalty of death, the Turks sent ships to Spain to welcome them to Turkey. They knew that wherever Jews lived, nations prospered.

The Muslim world was much more advanced than the Christian world at the time of the Crusades. The Crusaders brought much of the Eastern wealth back with them from their Crusades.

In my opinion, Jews and Palestinians would still live peacefully if they weren't under the influence of other Arab nations. There are many Arabs still living in Israel and are faring very well. It's the ones who left Israel to fight against them that are "disgruntled" to say the least!

Actually, way back when, all three of the major religions lived in peace in Israel. It wasn't until the Turks converted to Islam, where they were known as oppressors before they converted, took over Jerusalem, and forbid Christians or Jews any freedom there.
This is what started the Crusades in the 11th century. There are large minorities of Jews living in Arab countries. Until recently, Baghdad had a Jewish quarter. In Morocco, there is a sizeable Jewish population that fled Spain, during the inquisition. So you can blame the Ottoman Empire for the current crisis.

Jews, Christians and Muslims have always co-existed peacefully. The thing is, are there any true practitioners left?

When the Holy Land was a British Mandate, both Jews and Muslims lived there side by side. It was when the ethnic groups were given the lands where each was the majority in 1948 that problems arose.

Muslims and Jews are humans. Despite Islam, sometimes humanity overcomes. Long ago, in Spain, there was supposedly such a rare moment in time. Short lived.

They were relatively at peace up until 1948 when Irsael was formally called a nation. In Islam it is taught that if Muslim land is taken by another, it must be taken back at all costs from the infidel. So, that is why a vast majority of the Middle East is trying to blow Israel out of existence.
