I am planning on taking a cruise to these islands next spring. Can someone tell me about the nightlife, snorkeling, beaches? Also, how warm would the weather be for the last week in March?

I can only tell you that Nevis has a great bar that serves KILLER BEES on the beach called Sunshines...BE CAREFUL, they are KILLER. St. Maarten has some great shopping on both the Dutch and the French side....The French side has a half and half beach. One part is Nude the other 'whatever'. It is called Orient Beach so just be aware that it is there and usually part of a tour. Antigua has some great beaches but from the cruise dock they are mostly at least a cab ride away. If you are there on a Sunday it might be a little sparse outside the cruise ship dock.
St Kitts is nice. If you can, take the kayak tour. It is well worth it and the guys that run it are great. Kinda rocky at the dock but town is worth walking around. Just be careful as the sidewalks DIP greatly into some holes when you step off.
The last week in March that time of year can be a little chilly at night so take a light jacket.

St. Kitts and Nevis are so beautiful. The beaches, the people, the whole island. The weather at nights is a little chilly. A little sweater or jacket will do fine. I haven't been to the other islands but I'm sure they are lovely also. Here's a link for more information. Hope u have a great trip. Have fun.

I have been to most of those islands. Weather should be gorgeous. St. Maarten beaches are Okay not the best in my opinion (also nude beach). Not good. It's separate, but they still parade on the regular beach and your kids are there(Horrible) Nitelife is okay. Claire's at nite is okay for tourists.

Antigua- a beach for everyday can't be bored there in my opinion. Nitelife is great. A lot of places to visit that i think a tourist will like.

St. Barts- See and be seen crowd.

Don't know much about snorkeling. Sorry.

Enjoy.

Try http://www.cruisecritic.com for a bunch of info.

The islands will be so nice and water so clear and warm, you're going to love it.

Buy and bring your own snorkeling equipment and book your own "side trips" yourself instead of going through the ship who'll charge you more for the same thing.

We always would check advice on http://www.cruisecritic.com for beaches and tours...then when we got off the ship, we'd hop in a taxi. The taxi driver would always come pick us up right on time at the end of the day so we could come back to the ship.

I'd suggest the America's Cup sailing race while in St. Martin. It's expensive, but a lot of fun.

As for a great snorkeling trip...see if you can find one that includes a catamaran ride too. You'll love it.

As for nightlife...you'll probably be on board the ship during that time and you'll find plenty of things to do at night on the ship.

Have fun! Enjoy the islands.

Antigua is breath taking and not over-developed. Look over your shore trip options in advance. I would consider a cruise to one or 2 beaches. there are some nice restaurants perched on the hillsides. Even the road side stands had good food.

The beaches and great in all destinations. The nightlife...not much however if you are on a cruise you'll have all the nightlife they offer there.
