I am 13 years old and am going to be a sophomore in high school.
I am sooooo boy crazy, even tho no guy ever liked me cuz i'm 2 years younger than they are! That's so sad...
The point is, my friends are dating. I'm ...not. I know i am a bit young to be dating anyway, but when i'm...say 16 years old, i'll be old enough right? Right!
But i'll be in college when i'm 16! And i'll have ZeRO experience in boys.
Do you think that is ok? Or should i start dating earlier? I'm afraid that getting into guys too early will be bad for me.

You are wise beyond your years. Don't be in a hurry. College should be the most important thing on your mind. You are going to have so much fun. 13 is awful young, and guys, lets face it are retards at that age. Be patient, keep your head on straight. It sounds like you have a very bright future in front of you!

Yes, you are too young for boys. When you get to college you will be jailbait for them. It looks like you are s-o-l until you are 18. Look at boys your age if you really need to, but dont rush anything. If you are 13 and becoming a sophmore, you must be a smart girl. Stay that way, and dont get pregnant because you want to fit in and are "so boy crazy."

Try to find a boy that isn't so popular. Look for the "quiet" one and gently approach him. Don't be afraid of rejection, cause you'll have to face some of it. But check it, ask one of your classmates to study after school at your house. Look for the geeky type... they'll be down like a clown, know what I'm saying charlie brown.

If the right person comes along, age won't matter. I believe everything happens for a reason and will happen when it needs too. Dont worry about it too much. Just .. well go with the flow i guess. Everything will work its self out.

I would be speaking with them and then speaking with close friends on both sides of this arguement. Surely you have a few friends are on theshore with you who ARE NOT dating and then have some friends WHO ARE dating.You may just learn others have the same feeling and learn how they deal with it also.Dating is fun but it also means YOU MUST have respect for family and friends feeling o nthis matter as well.After all you are 13 yrs old and still need time to decide on major issues involved with dating.

Its not bad to get earlier. You don't have to be with every one, but 1 or 2 relationships will be fine.
