No matter how things change they stay the same. If you put out on the first date he will not respect you. I have never seen anyone maintain their sense of self worth when they do not have any respect.

I think its a bit old fashioned to believe that a guy wont respect you, although saying that I do think it means a lot more if you wait and get to know the person because then all your emotions are tied in with it and it makes it amazing cos your with this person you are crazy about. Its up to you and what you want to do and how the situation progresses I dont think there is a wrong or right thing to do? I wouldnt advise doing everything on the first date unless you want this to be a one time thing with this guy as otherwise what have you to look forward to, you've nothing left in the physical department to explore!!!!!!

Putting out --Is a lack of Respect NO the guy will not respect you if you are still able to get the ring you are in for a up hill battle the min. you underwear hits the floor!! Its all about what you want to do. No-one is forcing you - that would be bad. I think there is a whole 'thing' about women sleeping with guys on the first date that guys don't get in return - its an old story but they get a pat on the back and we get branded as slappers. I met a guy on Saturday and he was HOT i slept with him because it was what I wanted to do and it was amazing - i'd like to see him again, but if i don't then its his loss. I got as much enjoyment out of our time together as he did. Worrying about what other people think is sometimes a little pointless (unless you are hurting someone)....your friends should love you and respect you for who you are regardless of whether you 'put out' on a first date, as it is for you to decide.It doesn't have to reflect your whole life-plan - i had years of no fun in an abusive relationship and now if i meet a guy and i like him then its great, i'm in control of my life....although can get a little insecure....but it passes. Basically what i'm trying to say is do what feels right & don't get too hung up on regrets - i've been there its not worth the hassle!

I dont respect bitchy bully nasty types...
I you put out on the first date it would not stop me respection you. It would just mean you fancy me and see me as boyfriend not mate material.
As long as you were fun to be with, playful, smart, fiesty etc thats the basis I respect...
Not whether you fancy to *** off me or not.

If people dont respect you as you like sex and want to make love on a first date screw them they are the ones not deserving of respect for such nasty attiudes

Depends on how many times you do this, if you do this on the regular, you shouldnt have any self-respect...once in awhile is ok, but if you do it all the time, no one will respect you. especially your friends..I have a friend that we used to be pretty close, but she started sleepin with guys the first night she met them, it became very regular with her and now we hardly talk...I dont have respect for women who fail to respect themselves, if you have self-respect, you wouldnt do this normally.

I think u should do what u think is right if u do put out on the first date and thats all it is your just seeing him for the first time I'd say no because what is someone close to you found out and theyed look at you as promiscuous or hoochie like so I would not it would take me a couple of weeks

as a general rule i'd say don't do it on a first date especially with all the trimmings as a guy will only think you're good for sex & not a full blown relationship
however if you are only after a bit of fun then go for it. lifes too short - just use a condom you don't know where he's been.

its on you to feel if you respect yourself then there is no problem if u dont respect yourself then there will be a problem dont worry what other people say if u put out the first night oh well your are happy and content with yourself

It's not the way to do it if you want a relationship from them. They will not respect you. Other guys that catch wind of it won't either but you will get a lot of beggars.
