I've been dating this guy for 2 months my birthday just pasted and I spent it with my friends. I told him a month b4 my birthday what I was going to do. He understood until the big day came and he decided to make plans without discussing it with me. He got mad and didn't give me a gift, was this my fault or his?

hi fault, if he knew you had plans on that day, he could have planned something for another day, and no gift, thats just wrong

You were only dating for a couple months. Although it would have been nice of him to buy you a gift. Forget about him and the gift because he's one of them guys that's never gonna grow up and continue to do childish things like that.

He is withholding gifts b/c he thinks you should have spent that day with him. So ya your fault. But he is selfish, its your day not his.
