Has Anyone Tried California Natural Dog Food?

Please tell me what you think of it. Did it help woth any allergies?

California Natural is the absolute BEST food that you can get for dogs with allergies for particular ingredients. It is the simplest food on the market and Natura (the makers of California Natural and Innova) is world known for producing the healthiest, highest quality foods on the market.

I recently started my own pet supply business and am selling ONLY foods from this company because I have never seen such good results from a food and having it come from such a reputable high standard company is an added bonus.

Here are the ingredients of the California Natural Lamb and Rice:

Lamb Meal
Ground Brown Rice
Ground White Rice
Sunflower Oil
Taurine
Vitamins/Minerals
Beta Carotene

Now, I am completely against the majority of pet food companies because of their lack of consistency and low grade, harmful ingredients they use. However, with a lot of advertising and pushing from vets, Science Diet (although a very LOW grade food, has become a very popular food).

Here are the ingredients of the Science Diet formula designed for food allergies:

D/D Potatoe and Duck:
Potato
Potato Starch
Duck
Potato Protein
Pork Fat
Soybean Oil
Powdered Cellulose
Fish Oil
Iodized Salt
Duck By-Product Meal,

Z/D Ultra Allergen Free:
Starch
Hydrolyzed Chicken Liver
Soybean Oil (preserved with BHA)
Hydrolyzed Chicken
Powdered Cellulose
Iodized Salt

These two foods, which are vet prescriptions are disgusting. They both have no or next to no real meat in them, they are full of fillers that have nutritional value, and the second one is even preserved with BHA which is a PROVEN cancer causing chemical preservative. Other foods to stay away from are Iams, Eukanuba, Walthams, Purina, Pedigree, Royal Canin, Pro Plan, Ol Roy, Dog Chow, and so on.

Anyways, I could ramble on and on about the horrors of commercial pet foods but please be reassured that Natura has gone above and beyond producing high quality foods.

I would say 95%+ of the people that I have seen switch to California Natural have seen major changes in their dogs health. Those that didn't are the people that think they only need to feed it to the dog for a few days and they should be back to perfect health.

I would strongly recommend giving CN a try. It is by far the best hypoallergenic food on the market. You won't find better and if you do....I would love to hear about it.

PS remember, change does take time but my parents switched their dog to CN and so a reduction in her itching after one bag.

One of the dogs I cared for at the vet's office was on that particular food. He was very healthy and never showed any problems. He was boarded at that vet's office, so he didn't come there for any medical issues or surgeries.

There is one animal food that kills dog and cats and that name sound familiar.I will ask my sister when she gets home about it.
