how come when my children and i are in a store and they start to pick a fight on eachother alot of blacks encourage this behavior and tell them to hit eachother harder but white always try to help me get through this?

r u serious? People should mind there own business black or white. They are your kids and your responsibility. If anyone said anything to me or my children in the store when they were fighting or misbehaving I would be in jail...

It's really hard to know why people react one way or another in a situation like that. It's just nice to get a little help and understanding from others when you're out in public, though, isn't it? Sometimes helps to difuse the situation.
p.s. The statement used was 'alot' not all and the person is speaking from personal experience and perspective. Therefore entitled to their own opinion.

When I was raising children if they did that they knew what they got when we got home. A good whipping. My children were afraid of getting spanked and did not act out. For a long time my husband did all the grocery shopping after he got off work. I had 4 preschoolers.

Thats a sweeping statement
I dont condone children especially sibling's fighting one another
I AM BLACK
however I dont condone a parents passivness when it comes t o white kids.
for example
a white mother will allow her children to throw temper tantrums and scream and so forth
a Black mother will punish then consequence the child.
White children do harmful things to thier siblings growing up and even allow others to do the same
Black children will join together with siblings when threatened and will not do harmful things to one another growing up.
So unless you are using a middle america example of what you are saying
your statement is both sweeping and unintelligent

I dont think outsiders should be encouraging or assisting in your parenting while your out in the store. Its your responsibility for your children's behavior out in public.

i agree some people are werid!! but the best way to deal with this is that to sit with them and try to talk and find what is their problem!
