It depends on what is causing her decrease in vision. She needs to be examine by an optometrist.
If it's just near vision, it's a common fact of aging.
She could be already developing cataracts, that can be removed once bad enough.
There are also a number of systemic diseases that could be causing her eyesight to deteriorate - high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.

Make her do 100 press ups every morning. Not much good for her eye sight but OK for her arms.
