Your cat is NOT in heat. Cats do not bleed when in heat!!! If she hasn't been spayed then Could she be pregnant? She could be having a miscarriage or cant deliver a kitten properly because its been too long and has an infection.
It could be a urinary tract infection. it Could be cancer.
Whatever the reason, A cat bleeding like this is NOT NORMAL and you should seek veterinary advice immediately

If your cat is not spayed then she may just be in heat. Cats cry a lot when in heat and make themselves quite a nuisance. If she is spayed then she needs to be seen by a vet immediately! She could have either a urinary tract infection or an intestinal infection which if you leave either of those untreated can cause serious problems. I'd take her in and even if it is just because she's in heat then at least you have that peace of mind and know for next time.

I think you know what you should do - go to the vet. If she his bleeding and has a swollen tummy get it checked out as it could be something serious.

TAKE YOUR CAT TO THE VETS IMMEDIATELY, ESPECIALLY SINCE HER BELLY IS SWOLLEN. SHE IS IN PAIN, DO NOT LET HER SUFFER ANYMORE AND DO NOT SECOND GUESS WHAT COULD BE WRONG, FIND OUT FROM A PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE 7 CATS AND I WOULD HAVE TAKEN HER THE MINUTE I SAW SOMETHING WAS BOTHERING HER

Sounds like she could possibly be in heat. Take her to the vet just to make sure its not something serious.

If this has been going on for awhile, she may be pregnant and not able to deliver, she may need a C-section! Get her to a vet IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!! She could die while you are dithering around on the computer!
